Henry VII (1485-1509), Halfgroats (3), Canterbury under Archbishop Morton, type IB, 1.50g, m.m. tun/-, henric di gra rex angl z fra, facing bust, open crown, trefoil stops both sides and on cusps, crosses by neck, rev. posvi dev adivtore mevm, civi tas can tor, m at centre; type I/IIa mule, 1.43g, m.m. tun, obv. as previous, rev. eye after posvi, saltire after devm, m at centre; and another, 1.24g, as previous but pellet after devm (N.1710, 1710/1711 (2); S.2207, 2207/2208 (2); Stewartby p.440-1), the first two toned, very fine, slightly better in parts, the last only fine but the variety clear and unrecorded by Lord Stewartby, all rare (3).
