Henry VIII (1509-47), Pennies (2), third coinage, 0.59g, Canterbury, m.m. none, h d g rosa sine spi, Lombardic lettering, saltire stops, crowned facing bust, rev. civi tas can tor, mixed letters, long cross over shield; Edward VI (1547-53), in the name of Henry VIII, 0.56g, facing bust, mixed letters, lozenge stops, rev. Roman letters (N.1857, 1890; S.2383, 2422; Stewartby p.530 and pl.39/655 & 657 these coins), the first with weak centres, good fine, the second very fine, both rare (2).
