Charles I (1625-49), Briot's second milled issue, Shilling, 5.81g, m.m. anchor, carolvs d g mag brit fr et hib rex, crowned bust with falling lace collar, xii behind head, rev. christo etc, square-topped shield over long cross fourchée (N.2305; S.2859), adjustment marks as usual, blue and gold toning, about very fine.
