LUCANIA, Metapontion. Circa 470-440 BC. AR Obol (7mm, 0.45 g, 12h). Dumpy incuse type. Ear of barley with four grains, leaf to left; head of mule to right / Incuse ear of barley. Noe Addenda 293.5 (same obv. die as illustration); HN Italy 1489. VF, toned, some die wear on obverse. Good metal for issue.
