A fine Maya stone Celt from the New River area of Belize, ca.A.D. 250 - 800. This well made example is 3-5/8" long, is made from dark gray stone and is nicely polished. The bit is sharp and the surface shows good mineral deposits. Ex Pecou estate. Value range: $100 - $200.
