Caria, Myndos. 2nd-1st centuries B.C. AR hemidrachm (14 mm, 2.31 g, 3 h). Menophilos, magistrate. Wreathed head of youthful Dionysos right; behing, thyrsos / MYNΔIΩN, winged thunderbolt; below, magistrate's name: MHNOΦIΛOC. Cf. SNG Keckman 241-2 (magistrate); cf. Karl 270-2 (same). Wonderful old toning. Well struck and centered. Choice extremely fine.
