Ptolemaic Kingdom. Ptolemy I Soter. As Satrap, 323-305 B.C. Æ (11 mm, 1.33 g, 12 h). Paphos, ca. 310-306 B.C. Head of Aphrodite Paphia right, wearing polos ornamented with palmettes / Legen indistinct, eagle with folded wings standing left on thunderbolt; in left field, wreath. Cf. Svoronos 82, pl. VI, 27 (no wreath); SNG Copenhagen -. Very rare. Black patina, light deposits and porosity. Very fine.
