Parthian Kingdom. Arsakes II. Ca. 211-191 B.C. Æ dichalkon (15 mm, 3.11 g, 12 h). Rhagai-Arsakeia, ca. 209 B.C. Diademed and draped bust of Arsakes II left, wearing bashlik / Eagle alighting right on facing bucranium; in right field, horse's head right (mostly off flan). Sellwood -; Shore -; CNG 66, 760. Extremely rare and unpublished in the standard references. A touch nicer than the Bellaria (CNG) specimen cited, which sold for approximately $500 after buyer's fee. Dark brown-green patina. Very fine.
