Sasanian Kingdom. Yazgard II. A.D. 438-457. AR drachm (28 mm, 4.14 g, 3 h). ASP (Aspahan or Aspanvar), ca. 439-447. Bust of Yazdgard II right, wearing mural crown with korymbos set on crescent and inner ribbon / Fire altar with ribbons; flanked by two attendants, each holding a staff; 'RAST' on altar shaft. SNS type Ib1/2a; Göbl type I/1. Well struck. Good very fine.
