Thrace, Bizya. Philip I. A.D. 244-249. Æ (33 mm, 18.73 g, 7 h). AVT M IOVΛ ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟC (ΑVΓ), radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Philip I right / BI-Z-VHN-Ω-N, Tyche enthroned right, holding rudder and cornucopiae, being crowned with wreath by Heros standing facing before, holding spear. Cf. Youroukova 128; Varbanov 1573. Rare. Sharply struck on a nice full flan. Nice green patina. Some smoothing and tooling in the obverse legend. Nearly extremely fine.
