Phrygia, Apameia. Hadrian. A.D. 117-138. Æ (19 mm, 5.18 g, 6 h). AΔPIANOC K[AIC] CЄB[A], laureate bust of Hadrian right, slight drapery on far shoulder / AΠA[MЄΩN], Marsyas, holding cornucopiae and double-flute, reclining left on rocky cave, above which are five chests; below, overturned vase from which water flows. SNG von Aulock 3492-3; SNG Copenhagen 211-2; BMC 155-6; RPC 2586. Tan and dark brown patina. Very fine.
