SEVERVS PIVS AVG, laureate head of Septimius Severus right / INDVLGEN-TIA AVGG around, IN CARTH in exergue, Dea Caelestis, holding thunderbolt and scepter, seated facing, head right, on lion leaping right over water gushing from rock on left. RIC 266; BMC 335; RSC 222. Well centered and struck, underlying luster. A better reverse type. Choice extremely fine.
