Caracalla. A.D. 198-217. AR denarius (20 mm, 3.68 g, 6 h). Rome, A.D. 201. ANTONINVS AVGVSTVS, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla right / RECTOR ORBIS, emperor standing facing, head left, holding globe and inverted spear. RIC 39a; BMC 165; RSC 542. Well centered on a nice, full flan. Choice extremely fine.
