Sicily, Syracuse. Pyrrhos. 278-276 B.C. Æ litra (23 mm, 8.12 g, 6 h). Wreathed head of Kore right; behind, Δ / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩ[Σ] ΠΥΡΡΟΥ, Demeter enthorned left, holding poppies and grain ear. CNS 185; cf. SNG ANS 839ff. Green and red-brown patina, light smoothing in areas. Good very fine.
