Herod Agrippa I, AE 24 mm struck year 43-44 C. E. In Caesarea Maritima (Hendin 1248) 16.56 g.
The obverse probably shows the most important historical scene ever depicted on a Judaean coin: The emperor Claudius (in the middle) is crowned by Herod Agrippa I (on left) and his brother Herod of Chalcis (on right). Only 9 examples are recorded for this coin type, that always comes in very poor condition (www.menorahcoinproject.org/ag1-13.htm)
Estimate: 12000-15000
