BOEOTIA, Thebes. Circa 390-382 BC. AR Stater (22mm, 12.08 g). Wast-, magistrate. Boeotian shield / Amphora, with ivy branch with four leaves and berries sprouting forth above; FA-ΣT across central field; all within incuse circle. Hepworth 39 (same rev. die as illustration); BCD Boiotia 497 (same dies); HGC 4, 1330. Good VF.

Wastias was the pro-Spartan rival of Androkleidas and was instrumental in the latter's exile and assassination.
