Limestone amulet. Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 1070-664 BC. A pectoral amulet with a central scene of a ram's head facing right, wearing a tripartite crown with uraeus and set on a pedestal. An altar is to either side, "Amun" inscribed above. On back, Arabic writing of uncertain date. Dimensions: 36x35mm. Intact. Cf. Petrie, Amulets pl. XLI, 245am for a similar amulet type (but with different scene).
