The Frank Robinson Collection.
The 1918H and 1919H and the 1918 KN and 1919KN pennies show a faint outline of the obverse portrait in the reverse field. The result, in addition to the effect on the field, is loss of detail on Britannia. What happened? This seems a design characteristic of this issue-the portrait requires more metal to fill the die and the reverse suffers. London issues of this type show the same characteristic.
