His laureate bust left; GEORGIUS III D G REX on a raised rim around; K • on the lowest fold of the drapery (Obv. 1a but no ropes hanging below the bowsprit / Britannia seated left holding a trident and a laurel branch in her outstretched right hand; BRITANNIA on a raised rim above, 1797 below; SOHO in small letters in the waves. S. 3776. Peck 1077 (S) (the currency die for the issue). Good Extremely Fine; small edge bump at 8 obverse; rich even brown tone.
