Celticized male (?) head right, hair flowing, cross ornament at forehead, bar with hooks at each below chin, pearl strings around / Devolved chariot pulled right by horse with human head, half-length human figure below, viewed from back, with arms outstretched, grasping horse's legs. D&T 2189. Depeyrot, NC VIII, 173. Struck on a broad flan in handsome, rose-colored metal. A fascinating blend of almost hallucinogenic Celtic imagery!
