BLACK SEA REGION. Olbia. Ca. 437-410 BC. Cast Æ dolphin (89mm, 69.08 gm). Good VF, encrusted. Dolphin right with defined central spine and four vertical lines / Flat surface with small divided X in relief. Anokhin 173. Frolova & Abramzon 1. SNG BM Black Sea 359. Cf. Triton XVI (8 January 2013), lot 31 (hammered at $47,500). Extremely fine, with apparently six specimens extant. Light green patina with heavy mineralized and earthen encrustation.
