Franz Joseph I gold Proof 100 Corona 1908 PR61 NGC, Kremnitz mint, KM2812, Fr-514. An issue with endless allure, this "Lady in the Clouds" specimen features classic, sun-kissed color that glosses over the mirrors and attractively detailed illustrations that hold the viewer's attention for prolonged periods. As the grade suggests, a number of scattered marks are located throughout the expanses, as are a few isolated russet spots that add a level of character to the surfaces. Very much a premium example when encountered in a Proof designation, and likely to draw considerable interest from collectors as such.
