Leopold I gold 25 Francs 1848 MS63 NGC, Brussels mint, KM13.1. A two-year type of which a significant portion of the original mintage was melted, presenting surfaces that gleam with amber-hued luster, back-lighting the designs, and a reverse that ultimately steals the show with its fresh fields and pinpoint detailing. Wholly pleasing from all angles and in a strong level of certification.
