Republic gold 20000 Reis 1910 MS65 NGC, Rio de Janeiro mint, KM497, Fr-124, LMB-O729. Mintage: 5,119. Visually outstanding, with a mottling of russet tone across both sides and radiant, honey-tinged surfaces that are brimming with full-bodied bloom. Rather uncommon at this level of preservation, the central designs remains nearly as-struck, with highpoint detail showing an incredible degree of sharpness, while the surrounding fields contain few noticeable handling marks. As such, worthy of the Gem moniker, and presently the finest-certified example of the date by NGC.
