George V Specimen 5 Cents 1924 SP63 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM29. An attractive Specimen strike of this earlier date in the series, with a touch of reflectivity that resides in the fields and subtle contrast noted between the low-lying expanses and the raised elements. Mild chatter surrounds the portrait of the King on the obverse, but the reverse appears choice, particularly once in hand. Rather difficult to acquire at this level, and worthy of a premium as such.From the Schroeder Collection of Canadian Coins
