George VI Specimen 25 Cents 1943 SP64 PCGS, Royal Canadian mint, KM35. Covered almost entirely in champagne patina, with a single coppery toning spear that nearly bisects the obverse, and underlying surfaces that remain noticeably and uniformly reflective, from the flat fields to the raised motifs. Close examination reveals light handling in the form of several concealed marks on the reverse, most notably around the denomination, but without magnification, their visual impact is limited. A great rarity for 20th century Canadian coinage, and currently the only example known to the market. Also, accompanied by as fine a pedigree as one will find in Canadian numismatics, and as such, a near certainty to join yet another collection of advanced refinement.Ex.
