George V 50 Cents 1921 VG8 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM25a. A classic Canadian rarity, thought to exist in quantities around 75 or so. Of those 75, grades range from Gems that were likely set aside by mint employees who were aware of the mass melting, to heavily circulated examples that obviously spent many years in circulation. This example, on the low end of that continuum, exists with several others as the lowest graded in the PCGS census.
