Nova Scotia. Victoria Specimen Cent 1864 SP64 Brown PCGS, London mint, KM8.2. Small Rosebud variety. A superior example of the type with opalescent luster that brightens the design illustrations from behind, leaving the fields full of vibrant gold, honeydew, and peach coloration. The portrait of the Queen defines the obverse, with her hair detail pleasingly bold for the grade, while the reverse matches its counterpart beautifully. Certified just shy of the Gem designation, but an absolute jewel in hand. From the Schroeder Collection of Canadian Coins
