People's Republic platinum Panda Proof 100 Yuan 1990 PR68 Deep Cameo PCGS, KM280. A splendid example of this Rare platinum issue. The strike is sharp, with fields deeply mirrored and heavily frosted devices. Included is the original wooden case of issue with COA #51. Some sources list a mintage of 1,300 pieces for this issue. That was the authorized production limit, but the actual number struck was 778 pieces. We have included copies of 2 pages from the Chinese Government's own sanctioned publication on Panda coinage, where the mintage of 778 pieces is confirmed.
