Republic 8 Reales 1835/4 Ba-RS MS62 NGC, Bogota mint, KM89. Conditionally rare at the Mint State designation and very attractive for the assigned grade. On both sides, the raised surfaces are highlighted by iridescent orange-golden patina, while the edges and open expanses of the fields hold a mixture of purple and blue tone. Essentially free of contact marks as well, with the strike leaving no detail to the imagination. A touch of cabinet friction is all that prevents an even finer grade, but truthfully its presence of little visual consequence. A coin that is almost certain to attract spirited bidding, as its attributes are nothing short of world-class.Ex. Millennia Collection
