Republic 8 Reales 1837 BOGOTA-RS MS63 NGC, Bogota mint, KM92. An elite specimen of the date, with intermingled gray and golden tone over the surfaces that produces a touch of blue iridescence when viewed beneath a light. A rarity when found even close to Mint State, we sold an example graded AU58 by NGC for $4,406.25 in our September 2014 auction. Considering this example's vast superiority, and that it's the only Mint State example we've offered, we can only anticipate even greater enthusiasm for this piece!Ex. Lissner Collection
