Republic gold Type VII Counterstamped Escudo ND (1849-1857) MS61 NGC, San Jose mint, KM84. Lion counterstamps on a Costa Rica Escudo 1847 CR-JB. A nice example and scarce in Mint State with plenty of luster atop the honey-toned surfaces and bold detail on the host coin as well as the counterstamps.
