Farouk Proof 20 Piastres AH 1356 - 1937 PR63 NGC, London mint, KM368. An exceptionally attractive and original coin for the assigned grade, both sides enveloped in a layer of golden-olive tone, with pastel shades of maroon, peach and bluish iridescence in the fields. No instances of contact are seen and only faint hairlines, buried deep beneath the tone, contribute to the grade. A very scarce issue in proof, and as the largest silver denomination produced during Farouk's reign, a coin that is endlessly demanded by world crown collectors.
Estimate: 3000-4000 USD
