German Colony. Wilhelm II Proof 1/2 Mark 1894-A PR67 NGC, Berlin mint, KM4. A stunning example of this ever-popular type with highly original Proof surfaces blanketed in lightly iridescent tone with deep russet undertones. No marks of consequence are noted, even with the aid of a glass. This example is slightly edged out in the NGC census by a PR67★ NGC example, also of the D.
