Württemberg. Karl I 5 Mark 1888-F MS65+ PCGS, Stuttgart mint, KM623, J-173. Mintage: 49,000. The final year from this fleeting series, as well a date that asserts the smallest mintage figure, this superbly preserved offering features mauve-tinged, graphite surfaces and iridescent turquoise color that has gathered around the impeccably bold designs, producing a three dimensional effect across both sides of the planchet. An easy candidate for the coveted plus designation that is awarded by PCGS for impressive technical quality, and in our opinion, this selection is equally as impressive in its visual decadence. Currently the finest certified example of the date, with no other examples certified at the Mint State level by either NGC or PCGS.

Estimate: 4000-5000 USD
