Victoria Proof Trade Dollar 1897-B PR65 NGC, Bombay mint, KM-T5. A lovely and rare proof trade dollar, with multi-hued iridescent toning throughout. The single finest of two graded by NGC, with none having been graded by PCGS. From our research, we have been able to find just three other auction results for 1897-B proof trade dollars over the last decade, excepting the present example which sold for $28,000 hammer in our January NYINC auction of 2016 (Auction 3044, Lot 31292).
