George V Proof 6 Pence 1936 PR65 NGC, Royal mint, KM832, S-4041 (unlisted in proof). Dark gunmetal gray toning with underlying luster. A very rare issue in proof, this is the first example of the type that we have handled since September, 2012. There another NGC PR65 example hammered at $850; with that being said, though, it is well-known that the market for British proof coins has gone up tremendously in the last half decade, making our estimate an educated, conservative guess at best.
