Genoa. Republic 8 Lire 1796 MS61 NGC, Genoa mint, KM249, Dav-1370, Lunardi-364. A Mint-State selection commonly encountered in lesser qualities, with a deeply patinated obverse that presents a standing saint, and a more argent-colored reverse dappled with russet hues around the crowned, supported shield. Very much a visual stunner, and in a certified classification that is most pleasing.
