Vittorio Emanuele III 5 Lire 1914-R MS62 NGC, Rome mint, KM56. A singular issue that remains quite elusive, presented here with tinges of champagne across the whole of each side that brightens considerably upon rotation, cradling the illustrative designs in a lustrous glow. Isolated graphite tone dapples both sides; however, the fields are relatively absent any post-strike imperfections. An altogether eye-appealing selection, and one that remains coveted at all levels of Mint State.
