Ferdinand VI Pillar 8 Reales 1757 Mo-MM MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM104.2, Cal-342. A mixture of graphite and golden tone covers semi-prooflike fields on both sides, with few marks over the surfaces, and a far above-average strike that confidently portrays the classic pillar and globe motif as well as the peripheral legends. A highly coveted and very scarce grade for this early milled series, with only one example of the 1757 date having been certified higher by NGC and PCGS combined.
