Charles III Pillar 8 Reales 1763/2 Mo-MF MS63 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM105. A vibrant example with full luster that easily brightens the fields and a subtle amount of amber tone that is beginning to take hold at the outer registers. The large planchet contains a few future pedigree indicators such as die breaks, light laminations, and an overall granular appearance due to the use of rusty dies, all of which add to the interest of this already engaging selection. Currently tied for the finest-certified example of this overdate type, and absolutely pleasing as such.
Estimate: 2500-3500 USD
