Republic gold 2 Escudos 1841 Ga-MC MS61 NGC, Guanajuato mint, KM380.3, Fr-91. A Mint State selection with partial luster noted in the fields and the usual central weakness across the designs. The olive-gold surfaces support the designs nicely and a quick rotation under the light produces a glinting glow. A slightly better date from this series, and very much coveted when found in this level of technical quality.
