Atypical Metallic Tokens, Separated from the Roberts' collection based on the appearance of being produced in metals atypical for coinage-usage, such as zinc or lead or cast-mixed-metals, these 18 pieces all nonetheless seem to be of circulating styles. Likely mostly produced privately by haciendas or fincas, some have an odd-shape, some are uniface, some are very crude and most are 22 -28 mm in diameter. No precise duplication was noted by us, the attributions must be considered tentative and thus are not guaranteed, and the quality is likely typical for such pieces. Most were obtained during the 1960s and 1970s, nearly half a century ago when such material was quite inexpensive and not well documented. Included are all of the original Dana Roberts envelopes, just as Dana had them in his collection, with all of his information. Sold as is, NO Return.Ex. Dana Roberts Collection
