Republic gold Pattern 50 Centavos 18-- (1887) UNC, KM-PnD37. This piece is also is an unofficial restrike, struck at a later date, from original dies, over a Chile 10 Pesos. As with the previous lot, the undercoin is easily visible on the obverse and reverse. It appears to be struck out of collar. Fully brilliant, with golden iridescence and only tiny marks visible under magnification. Very rare.Note: Neither PCGS nor NGC are presently certifying this restrike issue.
