Republic gold Pattern Peso 18-- (1887) UNC, KM-PnE37. As with the two previous coins, this piece is also is an unofficial restrike, struck at a later date, from original dies, over a Peru 20 Soles of 1863. Most of the undercoin design is visible. Boldly struck, with full mint brilliance and prooflike fields. Essentially free of significant flaws. Very rare.Note: Neither PCGS nor NGC are presently certifying this restrike issue.
