Philip V gold Cob 8 Escudos 1708 L-H AU58 NGC, Lima mint, KM38.1, Fr-7. From the 1715 Plate Fleet with Mel Fisher Certificate of Authentication. Obv. Cross of Jerusalem with lions and castles in the angles. Rev. Pillars divide L_M, PVA and date 708. A choice, near-mint example (probably never circulated, but with slight rubbing on the highpoints. The cross is full, and sharp.
