Republic gold 100 Soles 1970 MS65 Prooflike NGC, Lima mint, KM231. A beautiful piece, with highly reflective fields giving it a real prooflike appearance. One of the key dates in this series, with a mintage of only 425 pieces, this is almost certainly one of the first strikings, as this is the only prooflike example that we have been able to trace (and indeed, the only prooflike example graded by NGC or PCGS!).
