Peter I silver Medal Honoring Count Feodor Alexeevich Golovin (1698) AU58 NGC, unsigned copy by J.C. Hedlinger, Diakov-10.2 (R2), Smirnov-180a, Reichel-4445, 57mm. Obv. Wigged half-length bust of Golovin left. Rev. Crowned rampant lion, holding sword, within laurel wreath. Well struck, with bold relief. The fields display some reflectivity and both sides exhibit mottled gray and russet toning, with light contact marks. A very rare medal in silver. Golovin was a close confidante of Peter I, as well as the ambassador to China and governor of Siberia.
