Alexander I copper Novodel Polushka 1809-КМ MS64 Red and Brown PCGS, Suzun mint (Siberia), Bitkin-H475, Brekke-22. Obv. Crowned double-headed eagle, holding orb and scepter, with KM below. Rev. Date and value. Sharply struck, with lustrous reddish-brown patina. A pleasing, near-Gem example with no significant flaws. Quite rare, as no regular strikes are known of this issue. The КМ on this coin is rather confusing, as it is not a mintmark and means, "Kolyvanskaya Med." (Kolyvan Copper). This information is relayed to us via V.V. Uzdenikov in a 2003 article in the Journal of the Russian Numismatic Society. He also states that there was never a mint at Kolyvan; the mint was at Suzun, although the КМ on many coins would lead one to think this is a mintmark for Kolyvan.

Estimate: 800-1000 USD
