Helvetic Republic 4 Franken 1801-B MS63 NGC, Bern mint, KM-A10, HMZ-21185h. An attractive blend of tone, multicolored on the obverse and more monochromatic on the reverse, sits over obviously reflective fields, with few instances of contact over either sides. Although seen somewhat frequently on the issue, instances of planchet adjustments (as made) that run through the central obverse design quite likely prevented the full Gem designation. A scarce and popular issue, especially in this elevated grade.
